I Started painting wildlife when i was 21 , i am a self taught Artist ,and a keen filmaker and photographer too, my passion for painting nature and wildlife developed when working in the countryside as a River Bailiff and fisherman in central scotland .
My studio is in the city of Dunblane perthshire and overlooks the beutiful River Allan where i create all my paintings and prints.
Being in such scenic surroundings and coming across a variety of birds and animals every day, has given me lots of ideas and inspirations that will carry me painting for years to come , i specialise in oils and acrylics but have a passion for watercolours as this is the first painting medium i started off with, i have just recently dabbled in learning the art of pastels which i am loving. i hope you enjoy viewing and maybe purchasing my creations of wildlife art.
